Occupancy generally runs Sunday to Sunday, except as noted. Dates in blue are not available. Dates in green have
been requested, but no deposit has been received, and so may become
available. We last updated availability
on March 3, 2010. A $500 deposit is due immediately to hold the
house ($200 of that becomes your refundable security deposit; $300 goes toward
your rent). Full rent is due by May 1
for summer weeks, and July 1 for fall weeks. Security deposit is returned after
your stay (sometimes not until the fall).
Ten people maximum. No
smoking or pets. Check in time
is 4pm; check out is 2pm. Such a late
checkout time is possible because
renters have full responsibility for cleaning the house (you must leave the
house in the same essentially immaculate condition that you find it; no
cleaning person comes in after your stay).
Maine law requires that we collect 7%
sales tax on all rentals. The 7% tax is
in addition to (it is NOT INCLUDED in) the rents shown below (this tax has been
raised to approximately 8.5% by the legislature, but whether this goes into
effect will depend on the outcome of a referendum in June 2010).
